Bestselling Author Clive Cussler Releases Signed and Limited Editions of his Latest Children’s Novel-The Adventures of Hotsy Totsy

clive-cussler-adventures-of-hotsy-totsyThe Adventures of Hotsy Totsy, Clive Cussler’s rollicking sequel to The Adventures of Vin Fiz (2006), has just been released.  Signed editions and exclusive signed limited editions of The Adventures of Hotsy Totsy are available at VJ Books (http://www.vjbooks.com).

In The Adventures of Hotsy Totsy (May 2010: Penguin), Casey and Lacey Nicefolk are two regular, all-American brother-and-sister twins who have a secret.  In their barn there is a mysterious widget that can turn any small object into a life-size replica.

Since their parents are out-of-town, the twins decide to have some fun and create a real working powerboat using a model boat and their newly found gizmo.  Casey and Lacey take their new powerboat and enter a race up the Sacramento River.  But during the race, they find that their powerboat is no ordinary boat and that the race is no ordinary race.  This is a romping adventure where being the first to cross the finish line is not the only prize.

Clive Cussler is the bestselling author of the Dirk Pitt series, the Oregon Files series, and the Numa Files series–all nautical mystery/thriller novels.  Some of the novels in the Dirk Pitt adventures include… (more…)

About…
The Wrecker

In The Chase, Clive Cussler introduced an electrifying new hero, the no-nonsense detective Isaac Bell, who, driven by his sense of justice, travels early-twentieth-century America pursuing thieves and killers . . . and sometimes criminals much worse.

It is 1907, a year of financial panic and labor unrest. Train wrecks, fires, and explosions sabotage the Southern Pacific Railroad’s Cascades express line and, desperate, the railroad hires the fabled Van Dorn Detective Agency.

Van Dorn’s best man, Isaac Bell, quickly discovers that a mysterious saboteur haunts the hobo jungles of the West - a man known as the Wrecker, who recruits accomplices from the down-and-out to attack the railroad, and then kills them afterward.

Whoever he is, whatever his motives, the Wrecker knows how to create maximum havoc. If Bell doesn’t stop him in time, more than a railroad could be at risk…
it could be the future of the entire country.

Filled with intricate plotting and dazzling set pieces, The Wrecker is one of the most entertaining thrillers in years.

Cussler, Clive - Silent Sea, The (Signed, 1st)
The thrilling new adeventure from the #1 New York Times- bestselling author.

Clive
Cussler’s tales of the Oregon and its crew-”the clever, indefatigable
Juan Cabrillo and his merry band of tough, tech-savvy fighting men and
women” (Publishers Weekly)-have made fans of hundreds of thousands of
readers. But the Oregon’s sixth adventure is its most remark-able one
yet.

On December 7, 1941, five brothers exploring a shaft on a
small island off the coast of Washington State make an extraordinary
discovery, only to be interrupted by news of Pearl Harbor. In the
present, Cabrillo, chasing the remnants of a crashed satellite in the
Argentine jungle, stumbles upon a shocking revelation of his own. His
search to untangle the mystery leads him, first, to that small island
and its secret, and then much farther back, to an ancient Chinese
expedition-and a curse that seems to have survived for more than five
hundred years.

If Cabrillo’s team is successful in its quest, the reward could be incalculable.

If not… the only reward is death.

Signed Limited Editions

Norwood Press publishing began with an interest in the first Clive Cussler Dirk Pitt adventure, Pacific Vortex.
Numerous collector requests for a hardcover of this elusive title
prompted us to produce the first trade hardcover ever offered. We were
humbled by the market acceptance for this book. After Pacific Vortex,
we offered high quality collector editions of additional Clive Cussler
titles, Valhalla Rising, Fire Ice, Sea Hunters II, White Death.
These first editions were produced exclusively for us by Cahill
Publishing. Additionally, we authorized the first hardcovers of Blue
Gold, Serpent and Golden Buddha.

Many of these titles are still available at issue prices.  Subscribers to “lettered editions” are guaranteed the same letter on future editions.

Cusslercon 2008 Convention

If it’s the first weekend in October . . . this must be Cusslercon! The Clive Cussler Collector’s Society brought its 2008 annual get together back to Denver, where it all began back in 2005.

Old friends and new, nearly 150 in all, gathered once again to celebrate all things Cussler. Early arrivers had a reunion dinner Thursday evening at Cinzetti’s Italian restaurant not far from the Ramada Plaza Hotel, site of the convention. Friday found Debbie and Bruce Kenfield greeting arriving attendees in the society registration room. It’s the place to be on Friday as returning “Cussler Crazies” renew old friendships as they watch for arriving luminaries.

The afternoon passed as Paul and Kristy Kemprecos, and Jack Du Brul sat around chatting with those waiting for the evening festivities to begin. Just as at previous conventions nothing officially starts until the arrival of the grand master himself, Clive Cussler. As the seven o’clock hour approached eager fans gathered near the entrance of the hotel to await Clive’s grand entrance. Not to be disappointed a classic car came into view, the 1932 Auburn V-12, featured in the 20th Dirk Pitt adventure, Arctic Drift. Driven by Dirk Cussler the Auburn came to a stop in the breezeway greeted by cheers of excitement from the gathered throng. Just as Dirk and his sister Teri stepped from the car, another classic - this one a miniature - pulled in behind. Folded into the driver’s seat was none other (more…)

Clive and Dirk Cussler - Arctic Drift

(Publisher’s Weekly, Sept. 22)

Dirk imagine the U.S. and Canada on the brink of war in their third collaborative Dirk Pitt novel (after Treasure of Khan and Black Wind). In 2011, as the price of gas hits $10 a gallon, President Garner Ward must contend with a corrupt Canadian cabal that’s subverting efforts to solve America’s energy problems. Pitt barely escapes serious injury when a bomb destroys a D.C. lab along with records of research into an artificial photosynthesis process that could, almost immediately, eliminate the threat of global warming. That discovery may be connected with a legendary failed 19th-century sailing expedition to the Arctic as well as a series of deaths due to the phenomena that the Native Americans of British Columbia know as “the Devil’s Breath.” The Cusslers won’t suspend many readers’ disbelief, but thriller fans in search of a quick, exciting read should be satisfied. 750,000 printing, (November 2008)

Grandmaster of Adventure

Grandmaster of Adventure

In Arctic Drift, the twentieth Dirk Pitt adventure, Cussler tops all expectations.

A potential break-through discovery to reverse global warming… a series of unexplained sudden deaths in British Columbia… a rash of international incidents between the United States and one of its closest allies that threatens to erupt into an actual shooting war… NUMA director Dirk Pitt and his children, Dirk Jr. and Summer, have reason to believe there is a connection here somewhere, but they also know they very little time to find it before events escalate out of control.

Filled with breath-taking suspense and audacious imagination that have become his hallmarks, this is a tour de force – further proof that when it comes to adventure writing nobody beats Clive Cussler!

Arctic Drift is laying down November 25th! Don’t miss this exciting title!
