Cross Country is the 15th book in the Alex Cross series, the top-selling new U.S. detective series over the past 15 years.  The 13th book, Cross, is being adapted for the big screen now:  the jury is still out on who will play Alex Cross (previously portrayed by Morgan Freeman).  Jamie Foxx has expressed interest in the role.  Little, Brown’s announced first printing is 1.25 million copies.
