Endurance by Jack Kilborn
Endurance is not for the faint of heart. Jack Kilborn’s novels are so scary that they will literally cause nightmares. At times they are as scary to keep reading as they are hard to put down. This book felt like reading texas chainsaw massacre. It was that terrifying, gruesome, and adrenaline spiking.
Rushmore Inn is a bed and breakfast hidden in the hills of West Virginia. Competitors in the national Iron Woman triathlon stay here after their reservations are over booked or after winning a free stay. They quickly discover that there is more to fear than the horrible presidential decor, the creepy surrounding, and the not quite right owner.
This book was originally scheduled to be released in paperback in 2010, the publisher read the final version of the manuscript and refused to release it.
“Are you brave enough to finish?”
