Fan and Reviewer David R. (Sacramento, CA) Calls Patterson’s Jester “Masterful”
In an age where cell phones rule, and the internet abounds, James Patterson is still able to rewind time and create a medieval masterpiece. Following a character through the crusades and into a web of loss and revenge, Patterson’s signature short chapters and quick intense action make this book not only readable, but very enjoyable.
I began Jester with low expectations. The prospects of a sword fight and horses were not something I’ve enjoyed in the past, but Patterson has a way of adapting his stories into something more. The sheer emotion of the story is enough to push the reader through and keep the pages turning.
