Stephen Booth was born in 1952 in Burnley, Lancashire, UK.  He is the author of the popular Derbyshire-set Cooper and Fry series. For over 25 years, he was a journalist for various newspapers and magazines, but he gave this up in 2001, to write his novels full time.  That year he was given the Barry Award for Best British Crime Novel for his first novel ‘Black Dog’.  VJ Books is pleased to be able to offer several of his titles.
