The show must go on. on March 16, Randy Wayne White was flying from Ft. Lauderdale to Birmingham, Ala., for a book signing. His connecting flight in Atlanta was canceled, and all other flights were full. White decided to rent a car- only to find that Hertz and Avis were out of vehicles. Finally a rental agency was located and White made the two+-hour trip in two hours flat – in pouring rain. Not surprisingly, he was greeted by thunderous applause when he arrived at Birmingham bookstore – a mere 15 minutes late!
